On the afternoon of March 13, more matches took place in the 1/8 round of the National Cup 2023/2024. At Quy Nhon stadium, the home team Binh Đinh hosted Nam Định in a clash of two V-League clubs.
With a desire to win titles, Nam Dinh proactively pushed their formation forward from the start and created many difficulties for Bình Định. However, it was not until near the end of the first half that the visiting team scored the opening goal.

In another match of the day, SLNA lost 0-1 to Da Nang despite playing at home in Vinh. The team from the First Division will face Hanoi FC in the quarter-finals.
