This morning, the Vietnam national team started their journey to Indonesia, preparing for the away match against the hosts in the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for Asia.
Despite the heavy rain early in the morning, team members were excited and cheerful as they prepared their luggage and moved personal items to the vehicle for the trip to Noi Bai International Airport.
Upon arrival at the airport, the team was given priority at a separate counter to facilitate and shorten the waiting time for all coaching staff and players. The team is scheduled to have a 4-hour flight from Hanoi to Jakarta.
In Jakarta, the Vietnam national team will have two additional training sessions and acclimatize to the weather conditions in Indonesia before facing the home team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on March 21.
