Vietnam national team welcomes a new top-level fitness expert from South Korea

As part of its plan to enhance the performance of the national team in the upcoming period, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has officially signed a contract with physical training expert Yoon Dong Hun.

Born in 1983 and holding South Korean nationality, Yoon Dong Hun is a seasoned physical training expert with extensive experience working with the Kitchee SC of Hong Kong (China). He is credited with significantly contributing to the club’s success from 2019 to 2022, notably helping the team reach the Round of 16 in the AFC Champions League 2022.

Yoon Dong Hun holds a formal education in physical education from Korea University and possesses an AFC “A” coaching license as well as an AFC Level 2 fitness coaching certificate. As part of the younger generation, Yoon Dong Hun also has the advantage of adeptly using technological tools and data analysis to enhance work efficiency.

Yoon Dong Hun’s contract with VFF extends until 2026. His primary responsibility will be to support head coach Kim Sang Sik by ensuring and improving the physical fitness of the national team players to meet the demands of high-intensity international competitions in the near future.

During the contract signing ceremony, Yoon Dong Hun expressed his gratitude to the VFF leadership for their trust and the opportunity to become a member of the Vietnam national team. He also pledged to put in his best effort to fulfill the tasks assigned to him.
