On the afternoon of August 26, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony, announcing that Acecook would continue as the main sponsor for the finals of the U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2024.
The tournament is set to take place from August 31 to September 12 at the PVF Stadium in Hung Yen (Van Giang District, Hung Yen Province). Acecook Vietnam will serve as the main sponsor for this prominent youth football event.
According to the organizers, the U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2024 is a professional tournament for youth players under 15, organized on a large scale across the country as part of VFF’s competition system. After the qualifying rounds, the top 12 teams will advance to the finals.
The tournament format will see the 12 teams drawn into three groups (A, B, and C), where they will compete in a round-robin format to earn points (three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss). The top teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will proceed to the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals and final.
At the event, Kajiwara Shinsuke, Vice Director of the Marketing Division at Acecook Vietnam, expressed the company’s honor in supporting Vietnamese football and their commitment to elevating the sport to new heights, which aligns with the dreams of the Vietnamese people. Understanding the importance of nurturing young talent, Acecook Vietnam has prioritized supporting youth football as part of its long-term objectives.
“To realize this goal, we have comprehensive plans to partner with VFF, including the honor of being the main sponsor for the U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2024. In addition, we will continue to support initiatives that promote overall health and well-being,” Kajiwara Shinsuke stated.
Nguyen Minh Chau, Deputy General Secretary of VFF, emphasized that Acecook Vietnam’s continued sponsorship of the U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2024 contributes significantly to VFF’s strategy for sustainable and comprehensive football development. This partnership underscores Acecook’s commitment to accompanying Vietnamese football on every journey since 2018. It also helps to spread the values of trust and community responsibility towards the goal of advancing Vietnamese football.
Following the sponsorship announcement, the tournament organizers held a draw to divide the teams into groups. U15 Ho Chi Minh City was placed in a group that also includes U15 Ba Ria Vung Tau, U15 The Cong – Viettel, and U15 Quang Ngai.
The U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2024 promises to be a thrilling competition, showcasing the talents of young Vietnamese footballers and laying a solid foundation for the future of football in the country.
