On September 17, Coach Park Hang Seo, in collaboration with Onside Field Vietnam Co., Ltd., visited the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to make a heartfelt donation supporting those affected by Typhoon No. 3. The storm had caused significant damage across multiple regions of Vietnam, leaving many families in distress. This initiative was part of Coach Park’s ongoing efforts to express his deep connection to Vietnam, a country that he considers his second home after years of working with the national football team.
During the donation event, Coach Park shared his thoughts on the situation, expressing his sympathy and solidarity with the people affected by the storm. “When I heard about the severe impact of Typhoon No. 3, I felt compelled to contribute in some small way to help those in need. My heart is with the people of Vietnam as they face this challenging time, and I hope this support can be part of the recovery process,” Park stated. He extended his deepest condolences to the families who have suffered losses and encouraged them to remain strong in the face of adversity. “I believe that with the resilience of the Vietnamese people, the nation will overcome these difficulties and return to stability soon.”
This act of kindness is not the first time Coach Park has demonstrated his deep affection for the people of Vietnam. Since arriving in the country as the head coach of the national football team, he has continuously shown his dedication both on and off the field. His willingness to step forward during times of crisis highlights the strong bond he shares with the country.
Park also emphasized the importance of community support during natural disasters, adding, “Though my contribution is small, I hope it can help heal the wounds left by the storm. I firmly believe that the Vietnamese people, united, will get through this difficult period.” His words resonated with many, as his humble yet impactful gesture reflected his ongoing commitment to the welfare of the people of Vietnam.
On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Đỗ Văn Chiến, Member of the Politburo and Chairman of the Central Committee, expressed his heartfelt thanks for Coach Park’s meaningful contribution. “We deeply appreciate the beautiful gesture made by Coach Park Hang Seo and Onside Field Vietnam. Their support brings comfort and hope to those affected by the storm,” Chiến said. He also assured that the funds would be distributed transparently and in compliance with legal regulations. The resources will be allocated swiftly to the regions most severely impacted by Typhoon No. 3 to aid in the rebuilding and recovery efforts.
This donation event showcases the strong ties between Coach Park and the people of Vietnam, reinforcing his role not only as a respected football coach but also as a compassionate figure committed to making a difference. His contribution, along with Onside Field Vietnam’s, will provide much-needed relief and support for the flood-affected communities, helping them recover and rebuild after the devastating storm.
