According to disciplinary decision No. 663/QD-LDBDVN, Hanoi Police FC has been fined 3 million VND for accumulating six yellow cards during their match against Hai Phong in the opening round of V-League 2024/2025.
Hanoi Police FC made significant investments during the 2024 summer transfer window, with ambitions to compete for the championship in all the competitions they participate in, including the V-League, National Cup, and the Southeast Asian Champions Cup.
However, in their opening match of the 2024/2025 V-League season, coach Alexandre Polking’s side failed to secure all three points. The team was held to a 1-1 draw by Hai Phong, with the opponent scoring an equalizer in stoppage time.
In addition to dropping points, Hanoi Police FC also received six yellow cards during the match. As a result, before their second-round fixture, the team was issued a fine. Specifically, disciplinary decision No. 663/QD-LDBDVN confirmed that the club was fined 3 million VND for their conduct in the match.
Looking ahead to the second round, Hanoi Police FC will face Thanh Hoa FC. This is seen as a key opportunity for Polking’s side to bounce back, especially with the advantage of playing at home.
The match between Hanoi Police FC and Thanh Hoa FC is scheduled for 7:15 PM on September 20 at Hang Day Stadium.
