Patrik Le Giang, the standout goalkeeper of Ho Chi Minh FC, has been named the captain of the club for the upcoming 2024/2025 V-League season. Le Giang’s impressive performances during the 2023/2024 season earned him widespread recognition and solidified his status as one of the top goalkeepers in the league.
Last season, Le Giang played for Ho Chi Minh FC on loan from Hanoi Police FC (CAHN) and was a key figure in helping the team finish an unexpected fourth in the standings. His consistent and commanding displays between the posts were instrumental in guiding the team to this strong finish.
In addition to his contribution to the team’s top-four finish, Le Giang was also named to the V-League 2023/2024 Team of the Season and recognized as the best goalkeeper of the campaign. His stellar performances drew attention across the league and positioned him as a highly sought-after player.
Following the 2023/2024 season, Le Giang parted ways with Hanoi Police FC and signed a long-term contract with Ho Chi Minh FC. As part of his new journey with the club, he was also appointed as team captain—a testament to the trust and respect he has earned within the team.

As the season progresses, Ho Chi Minh FC and their newly appointed captain are looking to build on their strong start. In the second round of fixtures, the team will travel to face Binh Dinh FC in what promises to be another challenging match.
