Golden Ball winner Hoang Duc is likely to join Ninh Binh FC this October as the club looks to strengthen its squad in preparation for a promotion push to the V.League. After midfielder Do Van Thuan suffered a severe injury, club president Nguyen Duc Thuy has moved quickly to secure Hoang Duc’s transfer to ensure Ninh Binh is competitive enough for the promotion race.
Hoang Duc is still under contract with Viettel FC until January next year, but according to sources, President Thuy is willing to pay a significant sum to terminate the contract early, allowing Hoang Duc to join Ninh Binh FC in time to be registered with VPF before the start of the V.League 2 season.
If the deal goes through, Hoang Duc will reunite with goalkeeper Dang Van Lam and several other national team players at Ninh Binh. His addition will significantly bolster the “galacticos” of Ninh Binh FC as they aim to win the V.League 2 and secure promotion to the top-tier V.League.
It’s not entirely surprising that Hoang Duc would join Ninh Binh, given that he is currently the brand ambassador for LPBank, the primary sponsor of Ninh Binh FC. His arrival would enhance the team’s strength and competitiveness, helping them in their quest to claim the V.League 2 title and earn a spot in the V.League next season.
