Ninh Binh FC, the new club of goalkeeper Van Lam, is gearing up for the 2024/2025 V-League 2 season with a squad that features numerous experienced players who have previously competed in Vietnam’s top-tier V-League.
Thanks to significant financial backing from sponsors, Ninh Binh FC has bolstered its lineup with several high-caliber players. According to the team roster submitted to the Vietnam Professional Football (VPF), 19 out of the 27 registered players have extensive experience playing in the V-League. Among the standout names are goalkeeper Van Lam, defender Thanh Thinh, midfielder Van Thuan, and forwards Dinh Thanh Binh and Pham Van Thanh.
These players are well-known in Vietnamese football, having left their mark in various V-League seasons. Some have even represented the Vietnam national team, further underscoring Ninh Binh’s strong ambition to secure promotion to the V-League 1. The inclusion of these seasoned players signals the club’s serious intent to compete at the highest level in the near future.
Currently, Ninh Binh FC is working to finalize the registration of star midfielder Hoang Duc for the new season. Should the process go smoothly, Hoang Duc will become the 20th player on the team with V-League experience, adding further strength and depth to an already formidable squad.
Ninh Binh FC will kick off their campaign with a match against Ho Chi Minh City FC in the National Cup on October 20, and the club is expected to be a strong contender in the upcoming season with their revamped and experienced lineup.
