
Vietnamese volleyball star Tran Thi Bich Thuy is set to face her former teammate, Moma Bassoko, in an exciting clash between GS Caltex Seoul Kixx and Hyundai E&C in Round 29 of the Korean Women’s Volleyball League. This highly anticipated match, scheduled for February 18, has drawn significant attention from Vietnamese volleyball fans, as it marks another milestone in Bich Thuy’s journey in South Korea.
After completing Round 28, the Korean Women’s Volleyball League moves into Round 29 with three matches. Among them, the showdown between GS Caltex Seoul Kixx and Hyundai E&C stands out, not only because of the competitive nature of both teams but also due to the reunion between Bich Thuy and Bassoko.
Moma Bassoko, an opposite hitter from Cameroon, previously played for Vietnam’s Hoa Chat Duc Giang club during the 2022 season. During their time together, Bich Thuy and Bassoko formed a formidable duo, helping Hoa Chat Duc Giang secure the runner-up position in the Vietnamese Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Following her stint in Vietnam, Moma Bassoko joined Hyundai E&C in 2023 and has since established herself as the team’s offensive powerhouse. With 614 points scored so far this season, she ranks among the league’s top scorers, playing a crucial role in Hyundai E&C’s title ambitions.
The much-awaited clash between GS Caltex Seoul Kixx and Hyundai E&C is set to take place at 5:00 PM on February 18.
