Binh Phuoc, April 26, 2025 – Nguyen Cong Phuong delivered another breathtaking free-kick goal to break the deadlock, leading Binh Phuoc FC to a 2-0 victory over Dong Thap FC in Round 16 of the 2024-2025 V.League 2 on April 26. The win keeps Binh Phuoc FC’s V.League 1 promotion dreams alive, solidifying their push for the top spot.
Playing at home with roaring support, Binh Phuoc FC dominated possession against a defensively stubborn Dong Thap FC, who sit mid-table. Despite their control, Binh Phuoc FC struggled to convert, with strikers Luu Tu Nhan and Nguyen Cong Phuong thwarted by imprecise final touches.
