Pleiku, 21 June, 2025 – In the 2025–2026 season, midfielder Tran Minh Vuong will join Binh Phuoc FC, a club aiming for promotion to the V.League next season.
Minh Vuong’s contract with Hoang Anh Gia Lai is set to expire at the end of the 2024–2025 season, which means the Thai Binh-born midfielder is now eligible to negotiate with other clubs. According to Thanh Nien Newspaper, he is expected to soon sign a three-year deal with Binh Phuoc FC. He will become the club’s first new signing and will receive a competitive salary package. Binh Phuoc FC is also expected to bring in more quality players during the transfer window.
Minh Vuong is seen as a suitable addition for Binh Phuoc FC. He is set to share the attacking responsibilities with his former teammate Cong Phuong. This season, Minh Vuong has maintained solid form, continuing to be a key player for Hoang Anh Gia Lai and helping the club in their fight to avoid relegation. During the mid-season transfer window, although several clubs showed interest in him, he chose to remain with Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
The early move to sign Minh Vuong highlights Binh Phuoc FC’s confidence in their bid to return to the V.League. After 17 rounds, Binh Phuoc are currently in second place with 40 points, holding a 7-point lead over third-placed PVF-CAND. They are on track to maintain their position and secure a play-off spot to compete for a place in the 2025–2026 V.League against the 13th-placed team of the 2024–2025 V.League season.
