Hanoi, 21 December 2025 – The appearance of Faker and the legendary T1 squad sent the atmosphere into overdrive at VPBank presents eSport Festival: Legends Unite, marking one of the biggest and most memorable eSports celebrations ever held in Vietnam.
The special event VPBank presents eSport Festival: Legends Unite took place over two days, December 20–21, 2025, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi, featuring the most successful team in League of Legends history, T1. From the moment Faker and his teammates stepped onto the stage, the venue erupted in deafening cheers, creating an electric atmosphere rarely seen at an eSports event in Vietnam.
The two-day festival at VEC was packed with vibrant activities deeply rooted in gamer culture. December 20 was dedicated to the “eSport Festival” day, a colorful community celebration featuring cosplay competitions, cosplay parades, fan interactions with League of Legends KOLs, and a wide range of food booths. The event transformed the venue into a modern, dynamic, and inclusive eSports carnival, drawing fans of all ages.

From early morning on December 21, more than 10,000 spectators checked in at VEC, turning “VPBank Presents T1 in Vietnam: The Promise Fulfilled” into a spectacular gathering of the Vietnamese gaming community. When Faker greeted the crowd with his opening words, “Hello Vietnamese fans, I’m Faker,” the hall was instantly engulfed in thunderous applause. Each T1 member waved to the audience, turning moments once seen only on screens into a vivid reality right in the heart of Hanoi.

As Faker and T1 stood on stage together, the excitement reached its peak. Tens of thousands of fans at the venue, along with millions watching via livestream, celebrated an emotional reunion after six years of waiting to see their idols in person. For the first time outside South Korea, international fans were able to witness all five of T1’s most prestigious trophies, including the World Championship 2016, MSI 2017, LCK 2020, LCK 2022, and EWC 2024 titles. The appearance of ATI, T1’s iconic phoenix mascot symbolizing victory, made its first-ever overseas appearance, offering fans an unprecedented experience rarely granted even to the world’s most developed eSports communities.
Following the fan greeting, T1 played a historic BO3 showmatch against a Vietnam All-Star team featuring some of the country’s most iconic League of Legends figures such as Levi, SofM, Kiaya, Archie, and Thay Giao Ba. In a match full of entertainment and unmistakable “Vietnam ranked” flair, the Vietnamese All-Stars claimed a memorable 2–1 victory, creating a lighthearted and unforgettable moment for both teams and the audience.

Beyond being T1’s first fan meeting in Southeast Asia, the event also featured renowned MC Lee Sung-hoon, a familiar face from T1’s major internal events, along with Untara, a former T1 player and one of South Korea’s most popular streamers. Their presence further underscored the scale and ambition of the festival, reinforcing the belief that this was the largest and most spectacular eSports event ever organized in Vietnam.
