JSport praises Tran Thi Thanh Thuy ahead of SV League All Star Games

Japan, 25 December 2025 – Japanese broadcaster JSport has published a feature praising Vietnamese volleyball star Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, as the SV League steps up promotion for its upcoming All Star Games.

The official website of JSport, Japan’s leading sports television network, has recently run an article highlighting Vietnamese volleyball icon Tran Thi Thanh Thuy while promoting the highly anticipated SV League All Star Games.

The “All Star Games” is a flagship event organized by the SV League, bringing together the finest talents competing in Japan’s top-tier volleyball competition. Thanh Thuy has been officially selected to take part in this prestigious showcase, marking another major milestone in her career.

According to the organizers, a total of 28 elite players were chosen for the All Star Games, scheduled to take place on January 31. To ensure balance and fairness, the selection process was split evenly between fan voting and expert evaluation, with 14 players coming from fan ballots and 14 chosen directly by the league’s organizing committee.

Thanh Thuy earned her place among the 14 players selected by the SV League organizers, a group widely regarded as carrying greater professional weight due to being chosen by technical experts and league specialists. This recognition underscores her consistent impact and high-level performances throughout the season.

As promotion for the All Star Games gathers pace, Japanese media have begun spotlighting key names, and Thanh Thuy has been selected as one of the leading faces of the SV League’s promotional campaign. On its official website, JSport released a highlight video showcasing her powerful back-row attacks from behind the three-meter line, accompanied by glowing commentary.

“Her scoring ability is outstanding, with long hang time in the air and highly effective back-row attacks,” JSport commented. “Tran Thi Thanh Thuy’s power is truly impressive.”

Thanh Thuy has recently returned to Japan after completing her duties at the SEA Games and is expected to resume action this weekend for Gunma Green Wings. Her presence has been transformative for the club, which climbed into the upper half of the standings this season after finishing at the bottom in the previous campaign.

This remarkable turnaround further explains why Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, often dubbed the “golden girl” of Vietnamese volleyball, has earned her place among the SV League’s All Stars, solidifying her growing reputation on the international stage.
