Hanoi Police FC face Singapore side in AFC Champions League Two knockout stage

Hanoi, 30 December 2025 – Hanoi Police FC will face a major challenge when they take on a representative of Singaporean football in the knockout phase of the AFC Champions League Two 2025/2026 season.

After advancing from the group stage, Hanoi Police FC continue their continental journey with a Round of 16 clash against Tampines Rovers, a side considered one of their most familiar rivals this season.

Within a span of less than 20 days, Hanoi Police FC are set to face Tampines Rovers three times. The first meeting will come in the ASEAN Club Championship on February 4, 2026. This match is crucial for both teams in the race to advance from the group stage, with Hanoi Police FC holding the advantage of playing at home.

Following that encounter, the two sides will meet again in a two-legged Round of 16 tie in the AFC Champions League Two. The matches are scheduled to take place between February 10 and February 19, 2026, with the aggregate winner progressing to the quarter-finals.

This season, Hanoi Police FC have maintained impressive form, competing on three fronts: V.League 1, the AFC Champions League Two, and the ASEAN Club Championship. In V.League 1, Hanoi Police FC currently sit second in the standings, just one point behind Ninh Binh FC, while having played one match fewer.

With a demanding schedule and repeated clashes against a well-known opponent, Hanoi Police FC will need consistency, depth, and composure if they are to continue their push on both the domestic and continental stages.
