Nagoya, 7 April 2026 – As part of their training camp in Nagoya to prepare for the. 2026 AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup finals in China this May, the Vietnam U17 women’s national team will play a series of friendly matches to assess their squad and refine tactics.
According to the plan, the team will play three friendlies against Fujieda Junshin High School (April 7), Iwata Higashi High School (April 8), and Aichi Toho University (April 11). These opponents are considered to have good technical quality and are expected to provide valuable challenges during the preparation process.
To support squad rotation and player evaluation, each match will be played in three periods of 40 minutes. This format allows the coaching staff to assess individual positions, identify the best lineup, and develop tactical plans suited to different opponents.
The Vietnam U17 women’s team arrived in Japan on April 5 and quickly settled into their accommodation and daily routine. Ahead of their first friendly, the squad completed two training sessions to adapt to the weather, pitch conditions, and recover physically after the journey.
Their first friendly match is scheduled for 14:00 on April 7 local time (12:00 Vietnam time), against Fujieda Junshin High School.
