Da Nang, 16 April 2026 – Coach Le Duc Tuan will continue to lead SHB Da Nang for the remainder of the season, after receiving strong backing from the players despite the team’s current struggles.
On April 16, Le Duc Tuan remained in charge of the team’s training session, signaling stability within the squad at a critical stage of the campaign. According to local reports, the Han River-based club has decided to maintain trust in the young coach as they focus on their primary objective—avoiding relegation in the V.League 1.
At present, Da Nang sit at the bottom of the table with 12 points, trailing PVF-CAND by just one point. With the season entering its decisive phase, every match is crucial, and the coaching staff is under pressure to quickly improve results. Key players, including captain Que Ngoc Hai, are expected to play a vital role both on and off the pitch as the team fights to climb out of the danger zone.
Earlier, the club underwent changes at the management level. Nguyen Huy Tai, Deputy CEO of SHB Bank, was appointed to support the club’s operations and long-term restructuring. One of the initial plans reportedly included bringing in coach Tran Minh Chien to replace Le Duc Tuan.
However, that proposal has been put on hold, largely due to the confidence the players have shown in their current coach. The squad’s support is seen as a key factor in maintaining continuity, as frequent changes could disrupt team cohesion during such a sensitive period.
With limited time left in the season, Le Duc Tuan faces a significant challenge. His task is not only to stabilize performances but also to inspire belief within the squad. If he can guide Da Nang to safety, it would mark a major achievement and strengthen his position as a promising young coach in Vietnamese football.
