The 2024 Southeast Asian Bodybuilding Championship featured athletes from Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei, Laos, Cambodia, Timor Leste, and Myanmar. There is speculation that bodybuilding may be included in the sports program for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, although the official announcement has not yet been made. Notably, bodybuilding was not part of the competition at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.

This year’s Southeast Asian Championship was the first international event in the regional championship system that Vietnamese bodybuilding participated in, marking a significant achievement for the team. The successful performance in Vientiane has not only reaffirmed Vietnam’s position in the region but also set the stage for future competitions.

Vietnam’s bodybuilding team’s outstanding results reflect their hard work and dedication, as they continue to build on their successes and aim for more glory in the coming years.
