Today’s Olympic 2024 schedule, July 30, for the Vietnamese sports delegation. Our athletes will compete in two sports: rowing and badminton.

In rowing, Pham Thi Hue will compete in the quarterfinals of the women’s single sculls heavyweight category. The quarterfinals feature 24 athletes divided into four heats, with the top three rowers from each heat advancing to the semifinals. Those who do not place in the top three will move on to classification rounds.

Pham Thi Hue is set to race in the second quarterfinal heat, which is scheduled to begin around 2:15 PM local time. She will be competing against five other athletes: Kenia Lechuga (Mexico), Karolien Florijn (Netherlands), Alexandra Föster (Germany), Tatsiana Klimovich (Belarus), and Alejandra Alonso (Paraguay). Although Pham Thi Hue faces strong competition, she will aim to perform her best to advance to the semifinals.

In badminton, male player Le Duc Phat will make his debut in the men’s singles event at the Olympics. His opponent in this match is Fabian Roth from Germany, who lost 0-2 to Prannoy H. S. in his opening match. This provides Duc Phat with a potential opportunity to secure a win in his Olympic debut. The match is scheduled to begin around 1:30 AM on July 31, Vietnam time.

Vietnam’s athletes are prepared to give their best performances today, and fans are eagerly anticipating their matches, hoping for strong showings that could lead to further successes in the tournament.
