On December 5, after completing their journey in the AFC Champions League Two with Nam Dinh Club, three players — Van Toan, Van Vi, and Xuan Son — officially joined the Vietnam national team in Viet Tri.
According to the schedule, the entire team will travel to Laos on the morning of December 6 to prepare for their opening match in the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
