
On the afternoon of March 2, the Korean Women’s Volleyball League continued with Round 32. In this round, Bich Thuy and her teammates at GS Caltex Seoul Kixx faced off against Hyundai E&C.
Despite playing away, GS Caltex Seoul Kixx entered the match confidently, as Hyundai E&C had been struggling with a series of recent losses.
GS Caltex Seoul Kixx started strongly, securing crucial points to win the first set 25-20. Riding on that momentum, they continued to dominate most of the second set.
Bich Thuy contributed five points in this set with her signature high-powered attacks. However, in the decisive moments, GS Caltex Seoul Kixx lost focus, allowing Hyundai E&C to edge out a 29-27 victory. Set 3 saw a more composed performance from GS Caltex Seoul Kixx, as Bich Thuy and her teammates secured a 25-22 win.
Set 4 showcased an impressive display from Bich Thuy, who scored three more points and delivered a powerful service streak that earned GS Caltex Seoul Kixx seven consecutive points. The Seoul-based team sealed the set 25-21, winning the match 3-1 overall. Individually, Vietnamese middle blocker Bich Thuy finished with nine points and an outstanding 87.5% attack efficiency—the highest among all players from both teams.
With this victory, GS Caltex Seoul Kixx now has 30 points after 32 matches, closing in on Pepper Savings Bank, which is just one point ahead in the standings.
