With every seat filled and fans in full voice, anticipation was high as Vietnam prepared to face a familiar opponent. Despite previous encounters with the Philippines during the tournament, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet opted for his strongest lineup to ensure victory in the final showdown.

This core lineup, used consistently throughout the tournament, delivered dependable and explosive performances, which continued in the final.

Vietnam stormed to a commanding 25-15 win in the first set, displaying superior coordination and precision. The second set followed a similar pattern, with the Vietnamese hitters outclassing their opponents to take it 25-17. In the third and final set, Thanh Thuy and Bich Tuyen dominated at the net, helping secure a 25-14 victory and sealing a straight-sets triumph.
