Hanoi, 20 July, 2025 – The 2025 AFF Women’s Championship will be hosted by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), with matches set to take place at Lach Tray Stadium in Hai Phong and Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho.
According to the official draw, hosts Vietnam have been placed in Group A alongside long-time rivals Thailand. The group also features Indonesia and Cambodia. Notably, Indonesia is expected to be a dark horse in this tournament, having recently strengthened their squad with several naturalized players. All Group A matches will be played at Lach Tray Stadium.
Group B includes Australia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Timor Leste. The matches in this group will be held at Viet Tri Stadium.
The knockout stages, including the semifinals, third-place playoff, and the final, are scheduled to be played at Lach Tray Stadium.
With strong contenders like Australia and Thailand in the mix, the 2025 edition promises to be one of the most competitive tournaments in recent memory. As the host nation, Vietnam will be aiming to capitalize on home support and reclaim regional glory.
