Ho Chi Minh City, 15 February 2026 – Vietnam women’s futsal national team has arrived in Narita, Japan, officially launching an important overseas training camp as part of their preparations for the 2026 ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship.
The squad departed from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of February 15 and landed at Narita Airport at 7:35 a.m. local time. After settling into their accommodations, the coaching staff immediately implemented recovery sessions and began the planned training program to ensure the players quickly regained peak physical condition.
During the training camp, which runs from February 16 to February 21, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his players will play two friendly matches against Japanese club Bardral Urayasu on February 17 and February 19. These matches are considered vital for evaluating individual performances, testing tactical setups, and improving team coordination and decision-making under competitive match conditions.

According to the official schedule, the 2026 ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship will take place from February 24 to March 2 at Terminal 21 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. Vietnam has been drawn into Group B alongside Myanmar, the Philippines, and Australia, while Group A consists of hosts Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
The Japan training camp and high-quality friendly matches are expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the team’s tactical readiness, improving match mentality, and helping Vietnam build momentum as they aim for a strong performance in the upcoming regional tournament.
