Pham Thi Hue secured her spot in the quarterfinals of the women’s single sculls heavyweight rowing event at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a strong performance in the repechage round on the afternoon of July 28th.
After finishing fifth in her initial heat on July 27th, Pham Thi Hue had to compete in the repechage round to vie for a place in the quarterfinals. The repechage round featured 14 rowers divided into three groups, with Pham Thi Hue competing in Group 1 alongside rowers from the Philippines, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Togo. The top two finishers from each group would secure a place in the quarterfinals.
