After settling into their accommodations in Bangkok, the Vietnam national football team held their first training session at Windmill Stadium at around 5:00 p.m. on January 3. The stadium, located just 15 minutes from their hotel, features high-quality grass, providing excellent conditions for practice.
Bangkok’s weather proved to be noticeably warmer than Phu Tho, presenting a slight adjustment for the players. Despite this, the squad displayed high energy and focus during the session.
Except for injured players Van Toan and Ho Tan Tai, who remained at the hotel to recover, the rest of the team participated and were reported to be in excellent physical condition. The session aimed to acclimate the players to local conditions and fine-tune strategies for the decisive second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final against Thailand at Rajamangala Stadium on January 5.
With spirits high and preparation underway, Vietnam is determined to secure a favorable result and bring home their third AFF Cup title.
